Pascal Wehrlein finished thirteenth on the road in the Monaco Grand Prix, but two ten-second penalties saw him drop behind Romain Grosjean to fourteenth. The Manor Racing driver was penalised by the stewards for failing to stay below the minimum time during the virtual safety car period, and then for failing to adhere to blue flags whilst being lapped, meaning that keeping Haas driver Grosjean behind him until the chequered flag counted for nothing.
