Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari go separate ways on Canada tyre selections

Canadian Grand Prix – Once again Formula One’s current top three teams, Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari, have all selected different tyre allocations. Mercedes have opted for three sets of the yellow-marked soft tyre, two of the red-marked supersoft and eight of the purple-marked ultrasoft, which makes its second race appearance in Canada. Their main rivals at the previous race in Monaco Red Bull, however, have decided to go for one more set of the softs, and one fewer of the ultrasoft.
