Sergio Perez: 'It's been a very positive day for us'

Sergio Perez believes his strong performance on the opening day of practice for the European Grand Prix is a good sign for the rest of the weekend. In the opening practice session at the Baku City Circuit, Perez finished for Sahara Force India in sixth with a time of 1:48.922, 2.487 seconds behind pace setter Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes AMG PETRONAS but Perez returned to the track in Free Practice 2 to set an impressive time of 1:45.336 to finish the session behind Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in third.
