Williams announces Chandhok as Heritage driver

Williams has recruited Karun Chandhok as official driver for its Heritage division. In his new role as Williams Heritage Driver, Chandhok will focus on the testing and public demonstration of Williams' historic racing cars. He will make his first appearance as a Heritage driver at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, where he will drive up the iconic Goodwood Hill behind the wheel of an FW08C (pictured) from 1983 and an FW13B from 1990. Williams Heritage was created to manage the team's collection of historic Formula One cars, dating from Williams' first season in Formula One in 1977 to the most recently retired models.
