Renault faces dilemma over 2017 focus, says Prost

Alain Prost thinks Renault faces a tougher decision in deciding whether or not to switch all its focus to 2017 because of its current struggles. The French car manufacturer has had a disappointing start to the campaign, with the outfit paying the price for the lack of development that happened last year under its old Lotus owners. And although it is putting together a long-term plan to get back to the front of the grid, it is currently only ninth in the constructors’ championship, having scored just six points so far this season.
