Ferrari show aggressiveness with Red Bull Ring tyre choices

The Ultrasoft compound once again is the compound in favour as the teams head to this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. It will be the first time that Pirelli brings its softest compound to a circuit that isn’t a street track, having previously run the compound at both Monaco and Montreal earlier this season. The Scuderia Ferrari and Renault Sport F1 teams have been the most aggressive with their tyre choices, with Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer all having chosen to bring nine sets of the softest tyre to the Red Bull Ring.
