Felipe Massa fears that there is a chance the Brazilian Grand Prix could be dropped from the Formula 1 calendar, despite the firm contract it has in place. F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has said several times over recent weeks that the difficult financial situation in Brazil has cast doubts about the future of the Interlagos event. He has suggested that this year’s event could be the last – although race organisers have repeatedly said that there are no issues with the contract and that they are actually looking at extending the deal. Although Massa is not privy to the discussions going on behind the scenes, he knows enough to not take it for granted that Brazil’s F1 future is safe....
