Sainz: New references needed on resurfaced Red Bull Ring

 XPB Images Toro Rosso ace Carlos Sainz says the recent resurfacing of the Red Bull Ring, home of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix, means teams and drivers will have to “reset their references”. The renovation took place as part of extension works that include re-designing and re-opening parts of the old Österreichring that had hosted Formula One from 1970 to 1987. The track was shortened and re-named as A1-Ring to welcome the sport back from 1997 and 2003.
