Rosberg escapes penalty for alleged breach of yellow flag rules

Hungarian Grand Prix – No further action is being taken against Nico Rosberg after an alleged breach of yellow flag rules in qualifying. The German was summoned to the stewards after taking pole position whilst going through a yellow flag zone for a spin from Fernando Alonso at Turn 9. Double waved yellows were shown, which usually means drivers have to slow down and be prepared to stop. Other drivers slowed significantly and aborted their laps, whilst Rosberg went on to set the fastest middle sector of the session. However, having looked at the car's telemetry, the stewards have agreed that Rosberg slowed sufficiently in the zone where the yellow flags were being waved, so he retains...
