Jolyon Palmer: “My first points in Formula 1 were there for the taking”

Jolyon Palmer was downbeat after seeing his opportunity of a first point in Formula 1 go begging after a mistake at turn four at the Hungaroring saw him drop two positions to twelfth. The Renault Sport F1 driver drove perhaps his strongest race of his rookie campaign so far but is still looking for his first top ten finish, but rued the issue that saw him fall behind both of the Sahara Force India drivers, with Nico Hülkenberg inheriting the final point instead.
