F1 radio ban lift good for the fans - Horner

Christian Horner says he is fully behind the F1 Strategy Group's decision to open up radio communications from this weekend's German GP, and believes that the new rules will be good for fans. The only restriction that will remain is on the formation lap, so that teams cannot give drivers information about clutch bite points. Horner says as teams and drivers have become more familiar with the hybrid technology, there has been less need for engineers to talk through procedures. "I think it was one of those things that ran away with itself and got too far," said the Red Bull boss of the ban.
