Button goes to hospital for eye check-up

– Jenson Button has gone to hospital for a "precautionary check-up" after experiencing an eye irritation during Friday afternoon's second free practice session at Hockenheim.Button posted the eighth fastest time in FP2, but completed just 16 laps, ahead of only Romain Grosjean, as the McLaren-Honda driver complained of discomfort over the radio.He has since been taken to Mannheim hospital for an evaluation."Jenson complained of an eye irritation during FP2, and has gone to Mannheim hospital to have a precautionary check-up," a McLaren spokesperson told GPUpdate.net.Button's team-mate, Fernando Alonso, finished 10th fastest.
