Nico Rosberg ended both free practice sessions on Friday at the Hockenheimring with the fastest time, but remained cautious about his team’s potential at his home track this venue. After a year’s hiatus from the calendar, Formula 1 returned to Germany, and Rosberg finished ahead of his Mercedes AMG PETRONAS team-mate Lewis Hamilton in both sessions, but knows from the experience from the Hungaroring a week ago that other teams can be in contention on Saturday and Sunday, especially Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Ferrari.
