Follow live coverage of qualifying for the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim with F1i's live commentary page. Nico Rosberg is slight favourite for pole position after topping all three free practice sessions, but the German saw his advantage cut from 0.4s after FP2 to just 0.057s in the final practice session this morning. Team-mate Lewis Hamilton was second quickest, with Daniel Ricciardo also a threat in third place as he was only 0.099s slower than Rosberg. Hamilton was in danger of receiving a penalty after FP3, but escaped punishment after a stewards' investigation into an unsafe release.
