Mercedes technical chief Paddy Lowe has hailed Nico Rosberg’s German Grand Prix pole after an electronic problem caused a huge scare at the start of the Q3 shootout. Rosberg beat teammate Lewis Hamilton by a tenth of a second, despite aborting his first Q3 run due to his engine cutting out at the end of the lap.
