Slow Ferrari didn't cost me – Alonso McLaren speedy Fernando Alonso has censored his complaints about a Ferrari F1 blocking him in qualifying for the German Grand Prix, and added that, he would not have made it into Q3 anyway. The Spaniard complained over the McLaren-Honda team radio about losing “massive time” behind a Ferrari on his final Q2 flyer. Following the session Alonso admits that, McLaren-Honda did not have the pace to make it into Q3, and added Ferrari error cost him very little time.
