Sauber signs former Verstappen engineer Xevi Pujolar

The Sauber F1 Team have confirmed the appointment of Xevi Pujolar as the team's new Head of Track Engineering. The 43-year old Catalan started at the Sauber F1 Team headquarters in Hinwil after the summer break and will work in this capacity from the Singapore Grand Prix onwards. Pujolar, a highly valued engineer, has worked for several Formula 1 teams; previously he worked as Senior Race Engineer at Scuderia Toro Rosso. He was Verstappen's race engineer at that team during 2015 and early 2016, until he was fired following disagreements within the team about team orders.
