Red Bull Racing Max Verstappen edged out Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo to set the pace in the second practice session ahead of the Belgian GP as rivals Mercedes chose not to register a representative lap time. Verstappen's impressive 1:48.085 on the supersoft tyres saw him finish over two tenths clear of Ricciardo, although the Dutchman did encounter power unit issues towards the end of the session.
