McLaren would be "crazy" not to take Vandoorne in 2017 - Wolff

McLaren would be 'crazy' not to drop Jenson Button in favour of Stoffel Vandoorne, claims Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff. With McLaren poised to decide who it wants to race alongside Fernando Alonso in 2017, Wolff says that if the team fails to commit to Vandoorne, he would even step into ensure the youngster got a grand prix drive. Speaking to Belgian media at Spa-Francorchamps, Wolff said he had no doubts that one way or another Vandoorne would be in F1 next year. "We have the potential of several stars entering Formula 1," Wolff was quoted as saying by Het Laatste Nieuws. "[Pascal] Wehrlein and [Esteban] Ocon are there now, but Stoffel has the most impressive CV....
