Power Unit Software Issues Hamper Williams

Belgian Grand Prix – Problems with the software in the power units prevented Williams drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa from achieving higher grid positions. The qualifying hour for the Belgian Grand Prix was plagued with software issues for the Williams team, despite both Bottas and Massa progressing to the final part of qualifying. Bottas will start the race in eighth place with Massa lining up in tenth, but software issues meant that they were unable to run the power unit in ‘qualifying mode', which affected their power output.
