Mercedes face 'demanding' race

Nico Rosberg is braced for a "demanding" Belgian GP in his attempts to win the race and cut team-mate Lewis Hamilton's world title lead. With Hamilton consigned to a back-row start courtesy of a 55-place grid penalty for exceeding engine components, Rosberg did what he needed to do by claiming his third pole position in a row at Spa on Saturday. However, the battle at the front in qualifying proved closer run than expected with both Red Bull and Ferrari lapping within two tenths of the Mercedes' pole time.
