Magnussen taken to hospital for checks after crash

 XPB Images Kevin Magnussen has been taken to hospital for "precautionary checks" after a heavy crash in the Belgian Grand Prix. The race was red flagged after Magnussen lost control at Radillon, smashing into the barriers at high speed. While Magnussen was able to get out of his damaged car unaided, the Dane was limping and was taken to the medical centre before Renault confirmed he had been taken to hospital.
