Kubica tests a single-seater GP3 car

Former Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica has tested a single-setter car for the first time since sustaining life-changing injuries in a 2011 rally crash. Kubica's Formula 1 career was cut short when the Polish racer crashed at the rally di Andora, suffering serious injuries to his right arm and hand. Six years later, the 32-year-old has made a return to single-seaters as he tested a GP3 car at the Franciacorta circuit earlier this week. He covered 70 laps as he tested with Trident. 'I'm back on the water where I swam for many years, and I must say the feeling is great,' said Kubica.
