Valtteri Bottas ensured that Mercedes finished on top of the time sheets after the second day of in-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Finn set a time of 1:16.904s in the W09 on the supersoft compound just before lunch. It compared to Lewis Hamilton's Spanish Grand Prix pole time of 1:16.173s at the weekend.
