Stoffel Vandoorne insists that the 2018 season isn't a write-off for McLaren. The team has experienced a miserable season after switching to Renault power instead of Honda but have fallen short of expectations set by the outfit. The Belgian reaffirmed that whilst the season hadn't brought back the feel-good factor the team has been missing for a long time, the improvements made to the car have given hope to those in the orange of McLaren. “I wouldn’t say it’s a write-off.
