Abiteboul: Our budget is 60 percent less than Mercedes

Renault team chief Cyril Abiteboul claims that Mercedes are spending a staggering 60 percent more than the French team in the quest for Formula 1 glory, explaining the gap between the World Champions and his team. While Mercedes have cleaned up, winning ten titles in ten years, in this budget-heavy hybrid turbo era Renault are lagging way behind in both their power unit package and their team.
