Formula 1 returns to Sky Deutschland on two-year deal
Formula 1 has agreed a two-year deal to broadcast the sport on Sky Deutschland. Sky Deutschland will broadcast all Grand Prix weekend sessions live and without advertising interruptions across its various platforms in Germany, Austria and in German-speaking regions of Switzerland. Sky Deutschland previously broadcast the championship until the end of 2017; it joins free-to-air station RTL and F1 TV as options for German viewers. “It’s great to be working together again with Sky, helping them to enhance and elevate their broadcast offering of the sport,” said Ian Holmes, F1’s Director of Media Rights. “The breath of their coverage over the years has always...
