Williams confirm chassis change for Russell and rules him out of FP2

Azerbaijan Grand Prix – Williams have confirmed that George Russell requires a new chassis for the remainder of this weekend, after his car was destroyed by a manhole cover. Russell's original FW42 chassis was destroyed when the British driver drove over an unsecured manhole cover during FP1 in Baku. The manhole cover lifted up and tore into the floor of the car, and triggered the car's shutdown emergency procedure for the engine. While Russell was unharmed, Williams have since confirmed the damage is extensive to the point of requiring a completely new chassis.
