Bottas surprised by 'big' Hamilton gap

Valtteri Bottas has admitted he was surprised by his huge advantage over Lewis Hamilton in Spanish GP qualifying as he blitzed his team-mate for another pole. Bottas secured his third pole position in a row on Saturday to strengthen his F1 2019 title credentials, and this qualifying performance was his most emphatic of this season as he outpaced Hamilton by 0.6s in Barcelona, with Ferrari failing to trouble Mercedes.
