F1 set for Morocco Grand Prix?

Formula 1’s commercial managing director Sean Bratches has confirmed the sport is in talks with Marrakech officials about the potential return of the Morocco Grand Prix. Following the announcement of the Dutch Grand Prix returning to the F1 calendar in 2020, Liberty Media chiefs have targeted a race in Africa with Marrakech becoming a key candidate to welcome the sport back. While reports have linked South Africa’s Kyalami to a potential F1 comeback, having last hosted a race in the continent in 1993, F1 boss Bratches confirmed talks are being held with Marrakech organisers. “We race on five continents and the last habituated continent that we don’t race in is Africa,” Bratches...
