Verstappen confident to fight for podium in Monaco

Max Verstappen has said that he is confident Red Bull “can fight for the podium” at the Monaco Grand Prix but is unsure whereabouts on the podium they will be. Verstappen has struggled to perform well at Monaco, but this year will most likely be his best shot at making the podium for the first time. But the Dutchman clearly sees Mercedes as the main opposition for the weekend ahead. “I think we go into this weekend seeing that Mercedes is clearly the favourite,” he said (quoted by Crash.net). “I don’t think we are as good as we were last year, so we will find out.
