Canada GP: Race team notes - Williams
George Russell finished 16th and Robert Kubica 18th in the Canadian Grand Prix. The Brit started 18th and Robert 19th on the grid, both on the medium Pirelli tyre. George ran a one-stop race, pitting on lap nine for the hard Pirelli tyre. Robert pitted twice during the race, on laps eight and 38 for the hard Pirelli tyres. Dave Robson, Senior Race Engineer: The hottest day of the weekend threw up some new challenges and led to many drivers managing their car, be it for brake temperatures, tyre degradation, or engine temperatures.
