Jamie Chadwick supports idea behind W Series joining F1 support bill

W Series championship leader Jamie Chadwick says expanding the series’ reach, potentially onto the Formula 1 support package, would be beneficial for the category. The all-female W Series was launched for 2019 and races on the DTM support bill, effectively replacing the now-defunct European Formula 3 Championship. Formula 1 grands prix typically feature Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Supercup on its support bill at European rounds, while other series make selected appearances. Chadwick has taken two wins from four races in W Series to lead Beitske Visser by 10 points, with just two events remaining at Assen and Brands Hatch.
