BREAKING: Albon to replace Gasly from Belgian GP

Toro Rosso’s speedy Alexander Albon will replace Pierre Gasly at Red Bull from the next race in Belgium, the F1 team confirms on Monday. Frenchman Gasly will take rookie Albon’s place at Toro Rosso, a team also owned by Red Bull. Gasly has too much struggled to contend at Red Bull since making the step up for the 2019 season but he was expected to keep his place until at least the end of the season. However Red Bull have taken action during the mid-season break. 'Red Bull are in the unique position of having four talented Formula One drivers under contract who can be rotated between Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso,' the statement said.
