RUMOUR: Nyck de Vries to partner up with Stoffel Vandoorne in Formula E

Rumors suggest that Nyck de Vries will secure a drive with the Mercedes EQ Formula E team for the forthcoming ABB FIA Formula E Championship season. The Dutch driver has already tested for the team and is the most likely driver to partner Stoffel Vandoorne at the new team.  De Vries is currently topping the FIA Formula 2 Championship standings for ART and has won three races this season.  “It is correct that Nyck already tested for us and it could be that he will get another possibility – like other drivers as well,” Mercedes EQ team principal Ian James told e-racing365.
