Ross Brawn confirms weekend structure for future seasons

Ross Brawn has confirmed that Formula 1 will continue with the three day race weekend instead of changing the format for future seasons. Many believe that the weekend should be made shorter due to the fact that the season has been extended.  “The format is an aspect of the sport we have focused on in some detail as we work towards the rules that will govern Formula 1 over the coming years and we have taken into account the voices of all of the key players – the promoters, the teams and last but not least the fans,” Brawn was quoted by Motorsportweek.com. “I’ll be honest and say that there has been strong consensus, especially among the organisers,...
