2020 Alfa Romeo is a ‘completely new car'

Only eighth in last year's championship with the C38, Alfa Romeo head into the 2020 season with a 'completely new' car for Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi. Much was expected from the rebranded Sauber team in 2019, especially after the team signed former World Champion Raikkonen. The campaign started well with the Finn scoring in the opening four grands prix. However, as the season progressed Alfa Romeo went off the boil. Raikkonen managed just three top-ten results following the summer break with Giovinazzi adding to the tally in Brazil, the team's second double points-haul.
