Sliders: Compare the McLaren MCL34 and MCL35
McLaren is the latest team to launch its new car for the 2020 Formula 1 season – the MCL35 – which it hopes will close the gap to the front-running trio, or at least allow it to claim ‘best of the rest' honours once again. Front The front shows McLaren have changed the design philosophy of the front-wing, instead looking for an outwash effect to move air around the front-tyre, rather than over it. The nose is thinner and the bargeboard area far more advanced.
