Ecclestone would abandon the 2020 season

Formula One’s former boss Bernie Ecclestone thinks there is only a slim chance for the 2020 season to kick off in the forseeable future amid the ongoing coronavirus crises. The novel COVID-19 pandemic has already had a huge impact on the 2020 Formula 1 championship, leading to a series of postponements and cancellations of grands prix. The Monaco and the Australian Grands Prix have been cancelled while six other rounds, the Bahrain, Vietnamese, Chinese, Dutch, Spanish and Azerbaijan GPs, have been postponed and could be rescheduled for later in the year.
