Gasly happy with result, Kvyat not so much…

Pierre Gasly says he's happy with the outcome of the first race of the 2020 season. The same can't be said Daniil Kvyat… It turned out to be an excellent race for Gasly. After qualifying in P12, the Frenchman managed to avoid the carnage that followed on race day to finish well inside the points in P7. With McLaren and Racing Point looking as strong as Ferrari and fighting at the front, it made him the highest finishing driver in the midfield. 'I think if someone offered us P7 on Sunday, we'd have signed straight away at the beginning of the weekend,' he said in the paddock after the race.
