Onboard footage shows Kvyat crash caused by puncture

Daniil Kvyat's dramatic crash in Sunday's British Grand Prix was caused by a sudden puncture according to analysis of onboard footage of the AlphaTauri smash. In the first part of the race, the Russian was fighting just outside the top-ten and following his teammate Pierre Gasly into the high-speed Maggotts and Becketts complex, when Kvyat's car brutally swiped ends upon the entry to the section. The AlphaTauri hit the outside tyre barriers but fortunately sparing its driver from injury.
