Portuguese Grand Prix to take place on May 2

Formula One has announced that the Portuguese Grand Prix will take place between 30th April – 2nd May, filling the last vacant spot on the 23-race calendar. The coronavirus pandemic forced the sport last year to heavily update its 2020 calendar. The modified schedule saw Portugal make its return to the sport by Portimao hosting its first Grand Prix in October. The track that is reminiscent to a rollercoaster received praise from the drivers and the fans and lived up to its expectations by delivering a sensational and action-packed round.
