Mercedes set to roll out 'exciting' updates at Silverstone

Mercedes is digging in ahead of next week's British Grand Prix at Silverstone where it believes it will be able to challenge championship leader Red Bull with the help of "exciting" new updates. The Brackley left Austria with a 44-point deficit to its arch-rival while Lewis Hamilton is lagging Max Verstappen by 32 points in the Drivers' standings. Red Bull's run of five consecutive wins and the sheer margin of Verstappen's recent victory in Austria pointed to the clear superiority of the team's Honda-powered RB16B package over Mercedes' own package.
