Raikkonen to retire from Formula 1 at the end of 2021
Article To news overview Kimi Raikkonen has announced he will retire from Formula 1 at the end of the season. The 2007 World Champion is the most experienced driver in the sport's history. Raikkonen revealed he made the decision last winter. "This is it," said Raikkonen on social media. "This will be my last season in Formula 1. This is a decision I did during last winter. "It was not an easy decision but after this season it is time for new things. Even though the season is still on, I want to thank my family, all my teams, everyone involved in my racing career and especially all of you great fans that have been rooting for me all this time.
