Albon explains why Williams was the right choice for F1 return
Article To news overview © Williams Alex Albon returns to Formula 1 in 2022, having secured a seat with Williams to replace George Russell, who leaves the Grove team to join Mercedes. Having sat out F1 racing in 2021 after being dropped by Red Bull Racing, Albon has found a cockpit for 2022 with Red Bull's help after maintaining his links by acting as reserve and simulator driver for Red Bull and AlphaTauri.
