‘Red Bull Really Has To Do It Themselves’: Alonso Insists He Won’t Help Verstappen Beat Hamilton

Double F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has said Red Bull and Max Verstappen will need to defeat Sir Lewis Hamilton on their own, with the Spaniard saying his Alpine isn’t competitive enough for him to frequently battle his former team-mate. His comments come hot on the heels of senior Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko suggesting that Alonso potentially wants to help Verstappen beat Hamilton this season.
