Mercedes reportedly set to drop Petronas for Aramco deal

Mercedes will reportedly part ways at the end of the current F1 season with long-standing title sponsor Petronas to make way for a new partnership with Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco. If confirmed the news of Petronas' exit from F1 - revealed by veteran F1 reporter Dieter Rencken on Twitter - would come in the wake of the Malaysian oil and gas company's formal announcement in August of its withdrawal from MotoGP.
