Logan Sargeant joins Williams Racing Driver Academy
Over the course of the United States Grand Prix, Williams Racing has announced that American racer Logan Sargeant is set to join the team’s Driver Academy. The 20-year-old driver from Florida started his single-seater career in the Formula 4 UAE Championship in 2016 where he ended the year by taking the runner-up spot in the standings with Team Motopark. The following two years saw him compete in Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Renault NEC, driving for R-ace GP. Sargeant most recently competed in his third year of the FIA Formula 3 championship, placing seventh in the 2021 Drivers’ Championship with four podiums, including claiming victory at Russia’s Sochi Autodrom.
