Hamilton summoned for failing to respect double yellows in FP3

Lewis Hamilton has been summoned to the stewards for failing to respect double waved yellow flags during FP3 at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver needs a top-five finish to guarantee the drivers’ championship will go down to the final race in Abu Dhabi — although Max Verstappen only has a chance of winning the title this weekend with a top-two result — and has looked strong so far in Jeddah. Hamilton topped Friday practice and was quick on the hard compound tire in FP3, but has now been summoned to the stewards.
