Mazepin sues Haas over unpaid wages

Nikita Mazepin Nikita Mazepin has revealed he has commenced legal action against the Haas Formula 1 Team following his dismissal from the squad. Mazepin found himself sidelined following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the American-registered operation parted ways with title sponsor Uralkali, Kevin Magnussen hastily recruited as a replacement alongside Mick Schumacher. “When the contract was terminated, Haas had a salary arrears to me for 2022, and they still haven’t paid it,” the 23-year-old told Russian publication RBC Sport. “It seems to me that the employer, at a minimum, should compensate for the salary until the moment of dismissal and, probably, pay some kind of severance...
